Well, we did it! State has come and gone and a good time was had by all. We headed to Ellensburg on Thursday after school, ate dinner at El Caporal, and swam and slept at the Best Western. The next morning we were on the road to the Yakima Sun Dome at 6:00am. We had floor time at 7:35am and then performed around 1:50pm. Michelle and I were really proud of the way the girls performed! Performing early was really nice because it allowed us some time to RELAX. We ate a yummy lunch at MINERS and then spent the remainder of the day watching other 4A teams from Washington. It was really fun to see the variety of costume, dance, and personality each team brought to the floor. Saturday morning we were able to sleep in a bit and then head back to the Sun Dome for some 1A, 2A, and 3A performances. Again, really fun to watch. Out bus ride back to Puyallup was a bit long due to avalanche control on the pass, but we had plenty of DVD's to keep us entertained (as well a restroom- which was heaven sent :>). Overall, the trip couldn't have been any better! Thanks to all of our parents who came to support us! We love knowing that you are there to cheer us on! Enjoy some pictures of our adventure....
